When can I retire after cancer?

If you can no longer work or can only work to a limited extent after cancer, you can apply for a reduced earning capacity pension. However, you must not yet have reached retirement age.
You will receive a full reduction in earning capacity pension according to § 43 paragraph 2 SGB VI if you can only work less than three hours a day. A partial reduction in earning capacity exists if you can work less than six but at least three hours a day.
