Each year of child-raising time improves your later monthly pension entitlement by around 32 euros. If your offspring was born before 1992, the SPS will credit you with up to 2.5 years of child-raising time per child. If a child was born in 1992 or later, up to 3 years per child are credited as child-raising time.
