What remains of the 1,300 euro pension?

The average gross pension in Germany is 1,300 euros. If you were to retire in 2022, you would receive a net pension of 1,145 euros per month, provided you have children (without children: 1,142 euros). This is because 12 euros in tax, 103 euros in health insurance and 40 euros in long-term care insurance are deducted from your gross pension.
With a gross pension of 1,500 euros, you will be left with 1,298 euros per month after deductions, assuming the constellation is otherwise the same.
