When will the pension be paid out?

Anyone who retires or has retired after 1 April 2004 will always receive their pension payment at the end of the month, i.e. on the last bank working day at the latest.

A pension payment is due for the first time at the end of the month at the beginning of which the eligibility requirements are met. You will receive the payment on the last bank working day of that month. Pursuant to § 118 paragraph 1 SGB VI, a timely payment is deemed to have been made if, according to the usual course of events, the value date of the amount of money is the last bank working day.
